Especially enjoy the 3-CD capability and remote.Wish it weren't such an ugly design but the price makes it well worth it. Terrific little stereo. Powerful for it's size.
I just assumed that today's systems have all three, disk player, radio and cassette. As all the Sony products I have bought in the past, this is Stereo is another example of satisfaction. LoisSony MHC-EC55 Mini Hi-Fi Component System I bought it for my daughter and she was very happy with the sound of the system. The Stereo is easy to operate and I was very happy of delivery service. I only wish it had a cassete player.

I doubt that I've played 50 CD's on this unit in the last year. I bought this unit about a year ago, and immediately saw that the 3-CD changer was probably a lousy design. I'm pretty dissappointed, and I'll probably never buy a Sony anything again. Other than that, the unit sounds great, but its still about the worst hundred bucks I ever spent. Sure enough. the internal changer mechanism died today with very little usage.
The only drawback for me is that I wish the instructions were better written for the electronically challenged (me), but don't let that scare you away. It sounds good, works great. I am figuring it out and so far I am enjoying this system and would recommend it for your office or home. I bought this player because of its value for the money and no fuss system. I do not have an I-pod, and for my needs I just wanted a simple to use system that had a CD player and radio for use in my office.
